For the price you can't beat this is a nice emergency multi-functional knife. Flipper works decently. Blade is sharp. Window Breaker and seat belt cutter make this ideal for car use. Flashlight...initially confusing as there are NO instructions. To make it work you need to unscrew the bulb end. There will be a little round cardboard piece in the tube that needs to be removed. After removal re-screw the top. When fully tightened the light should be on. Loosen it a bit and it's off. The light tube could also be used for a grip assist if you needed to use the glass breaker. I got the fireman's model. The RED color will make it easier to find in an emergency than an all black body.

As long as you either thread lock all the screws or make sure you tighten them periodically, as with mostproducts, this thing will last a long time. The flashlight isn't that bright but that's not what you bought a knife for anyway, but it can come in handy in a pinch.

This so-called Rescue Knife is, BY FAR, the very WORST I have EVER purchased &, as a retired 911 Medic, that's really saying something. I purchased this specific Knife as a "spare" or a "back-up" to keep in my personal vehicle in case of emergency if I happened to not have my nor Al everyday Rescue Knife ON ME for any reason &, since it was ONLY meant to be just a SPARE, I chose this due to how CHEAP the price was and THAT was my biggest regret. HOWEVER, since September is National Emergency Preparedness MONTH, I'd made the mistake of ASSUMING that the cheap price was just another one of the Preparedness Month SALES... but this was NOT the case, unfortunately, and it was so cheap because it is absolutely TERRIBLE QUALITY & I will most definitely NEVER purchase again NOR will I be recommending it to ANYONE ELSE whatsoever. The "LED Flashlight" component on the side of it does NOT work at ALL (and yes, I changed batteries & everything REPEATEDLY thinking it may have just been bad battery or something but NO, the ENTIRE light component ARRIVED ALREADY BROKEN COMPLETELY). Parts that were SUPPOSED to be good quality METAL were flimsy PLASTIC & ONLY SOME parts were even metal at ALL. Even the very BLADE ITSELF was absolute TRASH & extremely DULL. I was NOT expecting a "perfect" NOR super high quality knife for the low price BUT this was just BEYOND RIDICULOUS and was NOT even WORTH the price I paid for it. Honestly, I wouldn't even pay $1 for THIS Knife. It was THAT shoddy and poor quality. So, if you are looking for a DECENT Rescue Knife, ESPECIALLY if you're looking for a GOOD one that you intend to use when you're very LIFE depends on it, absolutely do NOT buy THIS Knife. Spend the few extra dollars and purchase a GOOD QUALITY REAL Rescue Knife. Your life, or loved ones, or even a stranger's life may very well depend on it. Definitely do NOT buy THIS one amd AVOID it for sure. There are MANY (literally THIUSANDS) of other Rescue Knives out there to choose from that are excellent quality at FAIR prices AND have MUCH better (and even MORE tool components to them as well). Basically, it is WORTH the extra money to get one that will AVTUALLY WORK and be helpful & potentially life-saving.
