Not sure what happened with these Vassoul lashes but they are very different than they were a several years ago. I have tried A LOT of magnetic lashes and used to buy these regularly, at least 5 or 6 sets over the years if not more. Nearly all magnetic lashes are absolute trash, unless you wear a ton of eyeliner to conceal them, but these used to be the best - they looked relatively natural even without eyeliner and would last for months of regular use. But now, the band is so thin and floppy, like the lashes are tied to a sewing thread, rather than what they used to be, which was more like a fishing line. The magnets don't line up, so even if you can get the lashes in place (which you can't because the band is so floppy), the haphazard placement of the magnets means that once you snap them together, there will be a weird lump, making them, unfortunately, completely unusable. Wish I could return them.

I must tell you, right off the bat, that I have wonky eyelashes. They tend to grow straight down instead of curling. I use a heated eyelash curler that helps, but they just don't have that "oomph" that I would like.I ordered these lashes, thinking, 'what have I got to lose?' I received them and they are lightweight, and SO EASY to use! The set came with an eyelash holder that you can use to attach the lashes to your own lashes, but I found it easier to just use my fingers. The magnets on the lashes are not big at all, and not heavy. I am able to set one last on top of my natural lashes, and then hold the second set up to the first and they magically click together to provide a beautiful look!It may take you a moment to get the hang of using these, but once you do - they're fabulous! The first time that I wore them, I had several people tell me how pretty my eyelashes were. I forgot to mention - these are NOT "whole" strips of lashes -- they go on the outer end of your eye to provide a nice, natural look.I absolutely LOVE them!

Easy to use light weight however I may have miss read but these are not a full strip they not even a half strip they like just for the end of your lashes so I was disappointed in that but with that being said they are still cute and good quality which is why Im bummed cause they would have been so cute and faster to apply so I just took all them and made it a full strip

Not what I wanted at all. They don’t stick and are really hard to put on. You have to trim the edges to the right size. I couldn’t put them on at all.

Whoever invented these things must want to torture a person trying to get these stupid things on and to stay. It is impossible to get these things on the right place before the magnets attract and clamp. Then trying to keep the lashed from attaching to the metal applicator is a comedy show. Hard fast NO. No, NO and Nnnnoooooo! They are NOT even a one star. Is there a negative rating?

These were fun and easy to use but didn’t last long

I think I’ve tried fake eyelashes maybe once in my life, and I remember the glueing process being a huge nightmare. As a result I have virtually zero experience with fake eyelashes. I’ve just relied on layers of mascara. Lately, I’ve been intrigued by the concept of magnetic lashes, but I’m not good enough with liquid eyeliner to try the kind that uses magnetized liner.Enter this product ... I did my eye makeup as usual and put my own eyeliner and mascara on first, then I used the wand to apply the fake lashes to the outer corners of my lash line and you can see the effect below!It took me about 15 minutes of practice sitting in front of a magnified mirror, but once I got them where I liked them they stayed on. I just fluffed out my inner lashes to blend them, and the effect is a thick winged look.I do wish they were full lashes rather than just half lashes, as my inner lashes could use some volume, but the overall effect is still really pretty.The kit comes with enough for two full sets (top/bottom for left and right eye is one set), but if you remove them carefully they should last a while! I think applying mascara to your natural lashes first gets you the most volume.If you’ve never applied fake lashes but have a good mirror (preferably a magnified mirror) and the dexterity to apply eye liner, you can definitely apply these!

I wanted to like these, I’ve been excited to try them on. However, if you don’t already have decent natural lashes, they have nothing to secure to and will fall off immediately. In addition, once they clamp together, the middle of the band will bend upwards in a pointed position, which looks ridiculous. They are also very small lashes, and don’t provide much of a difference beyond your natural lashes, and I barely have lashes lol! I also lost real lashes trying to put these on, even after following the proper instructions for removal. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.Edit:I actually managed to get them on properly! But here’s the sad news: they look like mini plastic ”bristles” rather than something feathery and lash-like.. And then,,,, they broke. They fell apart in my hands after carefully removing them and just carrying them from one area from my room to another. So fragile! Again, wouldn’t recommend to anyone. :(
