perfect...
I was alittle sceptical when I bought these. All the options for tie downs seemed to be so expensive I actually thought about selling my camper. I didnt wana spend $500 bucks so I decided to try these. SO glad I did! I have an 08 250 and they fit perfectly! They even fit over the plastic rail protector of my truck. They go on in no time really and have good holding power. I have a cabover that weighs 1400lbs (have weighed to before) and she doesnt move. We also have a boat so I was worried about when I back down the boat dock if they would still hold when its so steep, no problems. Althought if you do have a boat, I would recommend you get your bed lined with Linex like me or at least a cheap truck bed mat to make the camper grip more cause even though these are stong, they might tourqe your bed if your camper tries to fall back at such a steep angle like that.I was also worried about my truck rail width from the inside to the outside because 250s are alittle wider in the front of the bed. I measured the rail of my truck at the front and it was just under 5.5 in. The camper holddowns are 5.6 in so as long as your truck bed rail is narrower than that it would fit. Also one thing that it does not say in the description but that is in the directions in the box, is that you will have to drill holes if you have a truck with a double walled truck bed like a 350 dually. It also says in the directions that you need at LEAST 2in between the inside edge on the rail and the inside wall (pretty much you need a 2in truck bed rail) this is very important or the the triaglular clamp wont have enough space. But other than that they are so ajustable I can't see any other fitment issues for all other trucks.Great product Brophy!

Sturdy but Beware
These were easy to install and they seem sturdy enough. One of them left a dent/impression on the top of the bedrail of my truck. They're also difficult to use with rigid turnbuckle tie-downs because they sit so close to the trailer that there's very little play to get the turnbuckle hook into the tie-down bracket. I would recommend them as a lower cost option to frame mounted tie-downs (which I ended up getting).

Does the job
Works well with my 2900 lbs cabover camper on my GMC. Not the most heavy duty.

Easy install
2013 GMC SierraInstalled with factory liner. No drilling or cutting liner. Instructions ok. Hauled 8 foot cab over on a short 400 mile trip in the mountains with no problems. Very good quality.Update. Just returned from hunting trip on a lot of bad roads. Didn't have one problem with these hold downs. Didn't move or require retighten. Very satisfied.

DO NOT BUY!!! NO QUALITY CONTROL
I bought these because BROPHY used to be a quality brand. Every single bracket on my kit is already flaking powder coat off right out of the box. Every single one.. I think it was a combination of poor workmanship and not sufficient packaging. Now I am in a pinch as I needed these ASAP but now I am stuck with them because I need them. Very disappointed.

You’re doing it wrong; the bolt holes are NOT too close, FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS
For all those people who complain that the bolt holes are too close to the center, or that it was poorly engineered; READ THE INSTRUCTIONS AND LOOK AT THE PHOTOS. The square bolt heads are there for a reason. If you put them in correctly you will find that they sit up against the center part of the assembly which means you don’t need a second wrench while tightening the nuts. It works perfect! The real trick is where to position the mounts on the truck, and that will be unique to each camper/truck configuration. It might be easier if you have an 8-foot bed, but on today’s 6-1/2 foot beds it’s a bit tricky to find that perfect spot to place the bracket and get it to mate up with the camper’s attachment point. After you have identified the mounting point and it’s time to tighten the bracket, hold the clamping plate in position, insert the bolts, start the nut and then push the clamping plate as high as it will go. Tighten the nuts from the back side (between the bracket and the bed of the truck). A ratcheting wrench works best, but a socket wrench will work just fine. You will need to alternate between the two nuts until they are equally tight. Adjust the depth of the spacer foot, tighten its locking nut and you're done!
