To those who say this is “obscenely priced,” maybe that’s because we are too used to being able to buy things at slave-labor prices. It’s time for people to realize that good-quality products do come a a reasonable price. This shea butter is excellent and extremely nourishing.

This is the original L'Occitane shea butter. No scent, no additives, just solid shea butter. It's perfect for everyone. From my personal experience: it heals chapped skin, helps burns heal quicker with less scarring, soothes dry hands and heels. I'm told folks use it in their hair to moisturize, though I've never tried it. L'Occitane has consistently been the best brand of all that I've tried. Expensive on first look, but a tin lasts forever so it's certainly worth the price.

I stopped purchasing L’Occitane products a while ago because, although their scents are distinct, subtle, and beautiful, most of their products (foot cream, hand cream with anti-aging benefits, body lotion, body wash with infused oil, etc.) didn’t deeply nourish my skin. I don’t fault the products—it’s probably just a sign of me getting older.That said, I wasn’t very hopeful about this small shea butter balm, but it pleasantly surprised me! Its natural ingredients are gentle on my sensitive lips and provide excellent nourishment for my hair during colder months. It works effectively to keep everything hydrated, and I will definitely repurchase it in the future!

Good stuff! You get what you pay for, it lasts for a very long time. I use it for lip balm and under eye moisturizer. However, when I opened the box it did leak from melting in the heat. I will still buy.

Product is nourishing and hydrating. It leaves a very oily residue which is to be expected by this type of balm. I was disappointed by the packaging when it arrived. The lid was not sealed and it was actually on loose enough that some product leaked out.

This stuff is greatVery moisturizing and allowed me to get through pregnancy with no stretchmarks (and I am someone who is prone to stretchmarks)

This cream may be a good brand, but who can stay greasy all day? Getting everything dirty: their phone, their clothes, the sheets. I had to get up and remove the grease from my arms. I can't imagine the sheets and clothes being greasy and damaged. It's unrecoverable. It has good ingredients, so I'll use it for massage with my radiofrequency and ultrasound machines, for my arms and legs. Maybe it has good results because of its ingredients, but when can we use it? Going to work covered in grease? Or greasing the house, the bed? Oh, please!
