This is a solid product, sleek looking and functional. I have 5 guitars mounted easily on one stand; recommend. The holes are not predrilled - but that is a good thing because you need to take care when aligning the 48” mount plate with the 16” on center (depending on your builder) to hit all 4 studs. It’s doable, I mounted two of them and I have a third one on the way.Amazon fulfillment diatribe: the third one actually arrived today, I was hoping to install it but it was the wrong color again so I returned it. Awaiting a replacement (this happened twice now from Amazon fulfillment, I ordered black and they have sent me white).

I’m very impressed on how much better this looks than just the single wall hangers. It takes up much less space. Not just on the floor using stands, but you get more guitars in a smaller area due to slats and the pivoting head.I have two gripes. The little piece of metal that is supposed to align and join the slats together, didn’t. Would be helpful to have some set screws to make the connection more secure. This comes into play when marking and leveling. Especially when you are trying to do this high on a latter.The second gripe isn’t really a problem just something I will do differently next time. The self start screws work fine, I’ll just pre drill the holes next time. I imagine it was done like this due to not everyone having drill bits.Great product and I’m going to buy another right after this.

This is a quality item. I love how it turned out. Installation, however, was a bit of a pain. I had to drill pilot holes in the metal. The directions say to drill it directly through the metal into the wall, which is not realistic based on the amount of slippage that could take place. I also was annoyed with the connecting piece between the two sides because it didn't hold together well, so I taped the back to give it more support before putting it on the wall. Even then, it sagged and buckled a little, so I had to hold both sides together firmly when I drilled in the second screw. Once I got past that step, the rest of installation was easy.The looks, however, are amazing. It instantly transforms a room. A few minor tweaks on design might improve installation, but if you're moderately handy, you'll do fine with this.

Easy to install and holds all five guitars as shown. Happy to get them up and off the floor where my kids knock into them. Helps the room stay organized

The rack works just as advertised. Easy to install and has worked beautifully since its purchase two and a half years ago. Great product and very consumer friendly.

I was looking for a way to display 10 guitars in a relatively compact space. A search led me to the String Swing SW5RL-B-K Guitar Keeper Bundle with 5 Guitar Hangers. I purchased 2 to get all 10 of my instruments out of cases. First it's well made (in the USA!) with very high quality materials at what I consider a fair price. The installation is relatively straightforward just be aware that you need to be handy - it's not plug and play. It's up to you to find the studs on the wall and then drill the corresponding mounting holes in the main bracket. The only thing that was unclear to me was which side of the main bracket was up/down - they are different but seem to work either way. There is a side that's finished that curves to the wall and painted and another that has a channel. I installed mine with the channel side up and added 8 feet of tape LEDs. LEDs do not come with the kit. Overall - great product!
