Sharp, aggressive
Installing a new 3/4" gasoline, I needed to bore through three 6x8 old wood beams. My old bits, admittedly having gone through plenty of prior use, weren't cutting it. These bits tore into the wood with a very clean cut. My 12V drills aren't strong enough to drive these bits for that project as the tips want to pull the bite in more than the small drills can sustain, but my medium duty corded drill runs them fairly easily. I did use a long, skinny bit to drill in from the backside and keep the holes completely clean; an extension also would have worked.Good value for the set. Be careful that you don't jam them up if the screw tips really get a good bite; I cleared my holes regularly. Good value down the set. They work perfectly; completely satisfied!

Seems like a good quality set!
I bought this spade set for future projects as I had a basic set that I used for a few things, and wanted to upgrade my bits so I am prepared for what comes down the line. This seems like a good quality set. It features several sizes (more than my basic kit has) and stores everything in its own pouch/bag. Overall, I am happy with this product and confident that when I will need it, it will not fail to deliver.

Very sharp and bites strongly into the material
Use extreme caution when using these with a hand held drill. When I first used them, I wasn't as careful and the drill ripped right out of my hands. Fortunately I was able to let go with no injuries. The set comes with a lot of sizes and they work perfectly once I got used to using them. If you start your project with a small hole and gradually increase the diameter, you'll find that these work amazingly. They are very loud when in use, but they chew through wood very quickly. For the cost, it's 100% worth it! The travel case is really nice and offers a perfect way to keep the set organized.
