It works

Used it to convert output of a temperature instrument to match the input of a PLC analog input. Works well. Checked the calibration after a month of use, calibration hadn't changed.

No wiring diagram

I tried to use this device with an HVAC controller which produces a VDC output, but it did not work. Unfortunately, there is not a wiring diagram or support with the product. It did not work.

Great voltage to milliamp converter module for the price

I have this powered from a 24V linear regulator and supply a 0-5V signal from a Raspberry Pi based DAC. The output current was already well calibrated upon arrival (4mA out at 0V input and 20mA out at 5v input), so no span or zero adjustments were needed. Overall, a great little module for the price.

It works, comes calibrated at 0-10 VDC, wiring is a little tricky

The media could not be loaded. The tricky part is getting the wiring correct. On the 3 pin side, terminal 1: Gnd 2: 4-20mA Current Out 3: 10-30 VDC current Loop Power (4-20mA Current and 10-30 VDC Power share Gnd). The 0-10 VDC input signal (or what ever you calibrate it for) is wired to the 2 terminal side. It seems like the current loop power works best between 10-30 VDC. It came pre calibrated for 0-10 VDC, but I had to tweak it slightly using the Zero pot and the High Range pot. Pretty simple device that does its job.

Works but no directions so a bit hard to setup

This works but took a bit of trial and error and guessing how to connect it. Power in connects on the three-pin terminal strip, the polarity is marked, the inner terminal is the current send positive, and the ground for this is shared with the power source. The voltage input is on the opposite side of the two terminals. This is setup so 0V in=4MA out and 5V would be 10MA. This is marked on the packaging but not clearly marked on the board which would be nice. Documentation would be nice to have for this too.

It works, but is not galvanically isolated

I have to go back and re-read the description... I thought it said this voltage to current converter was isolated. The primary reason I bought it was for isolation of separate returns, I just don't see any isolating devices such as an opto that would provide galvanic isolation of the input to output circuits.

Good converter if you know what you are doing.

This converter works great if you know how to use it. Mine arrived calibrated to convert 0-10vdc to 4-20ma. There are 2 pots on it for calibration. The one by the VCC pin is the zeroing pot and the one by the Vin pin is the range. If it had been as ordered (0-5vdc to 4-20ma) I would have given it 5 stars.I posted pictures of the pot labels on the board translated from Chinese using an app.Overall it works well. It isn't isolated so be aware of that, but at this price it is a great piece of hardware!
