Can never have enough of these when everything is battery operated in my house. I keep a few extras so I never get stuck not finishing yard work. Super easy to put on the charger and take off.

1/3rd of the price off on Amazon compared with HD or Competitor(s).More Power to skillsaw, hammer drill and sawzal....For impact screwgun I still prefer the lower amp batteries....Those were the originals and suitable without compromising its delicate electrical components.These batteries charge comparably quicker to originals, on the same chargers.Slim profile but tad wider and for s but snugg in the receiving ends.Still in the testing chapter...1st month since purchased,these new package seem to distribute the extra power but may not last as long on a single charge....Perhaps I've used them in some demanding projects...and misscalculated the time cause and demand. Will have to report back.Over all Dewalt is my kind of tool set and I recommend it to the professionals and Diyers for reliability and ergonomic characteristic.I am very happy with my purchase and will eventually have to replace the other 5 batteries in the future. And you. Probably guessed it...I'll be buying Reliable Dewalt sets and accessories, for a very fair price ...Right Here -on Amazon Prime.

This was a gift for someone that had the smaller size charger. He was very happy with the charging time. Now he can use his blower for the entire garage and yard. The quality and longevity of the product makes it a powerful tool in his arsenal of toys and a good fit. It works very well.

Much bigger than expected, I bought because it says compact and longer run time but I mainly wanted compact. I only do small jobs with short run times so I will return and get 2.0 or powerstack. All have same power and the only difference is run time. I have 4 batteries so run time isn't a problem for me and I was just trying to replace my old 1.7s. Update, I ended up keeping these because you can't beat the price of $97 for 2 and I bought an off brand mini fan and led light and with the wider base they work great. Another update, 1 of these batteries has died after 7 months and I only used and recharged 4 times. I'm highly disappointed because I have other dewalt batteries I've been using for over 5 years, I guess that's why there on sale. Another update, dewalt sent me a replacement battery at no charge and this one was in the original plastic packaging and not sandwich baggies.

I was needing a larger battery for my Dewalt blower and Saw as the smaller 4 amp gour batteries were wearing out too quickly. This was the right battery at the right price. Recommend this battery for an upgrade to the smaller batteries without breaking the bank. This battery increased the run time without sacrificing power.

Can mow 3/4 acres of lawn with these bad boys. Definitely works great and does not overheat. Solid construction and you get full power out of the tools with it.

While the product I received appears to be a Dewalt 20V MAX 8AH battery, it's not labeled as an XR series battery as depicted and noted in the product description.
