Good product.Used it prior also, hence ordered one for myself.Build quality is good, battery life is good also.

The packing and item reach safely but the charger is not fit for Indian plug. It is the plug type g (for UK) not ours, it is the only problem in the item.

Excellent drill especially for DIY furniture and handy tool at home! It’s got good variable speed and torque and long battery life with it’s Li-ion batteries.

Got this drill machine for 999 on lightning sale.The reviews posted here were not very much helpful so had to buy it with a hunch.Let me tell you, this drill machine is a absolute workhorse.The built quality is really good and it serves the normal purpose of drilling fine, you'll need a right bit to work though.I've used it on masonry and it drilled into the wall like a hot knife on a butter.There was a review talking about sparks, well sparks happens inside the drill machine and can be seen when you look inside the vent but it does with every drill machine. Sparks are supposed to happen because the carbon brushes come in contact with the commutator. So no worries there.It's a really good machine which does it's job.The only downside being that when you push the button, it gives a jerk and compared to other drill machine, the jerk is a little bit higher. Plus the packaging is really bad, it only comes in a box without any bubble wrap or protective measures.A hard case would have been really helpful though.Would have been great if it had speed control and reverse function but given the price, it is just asking for too much.If normal drilling is the purpose, look nowhere and buy this.

Fantastic product. Feels very well built. Fits snugly into the hand, has a great balance and has exceeded expectations in my use over the past week. I have not subjected it to a heavy workload yet, but it feels adequate for normal household work like fixing wall hangings. Also, I'm using it more as a screwdriver than as a drill. Plan to update the review after a few months or if something contrary happens.

Very good product from Black & Decker. I was speculative before about its quality & durability, but once I received it I found the build quality pretty decent. I bought it in a Lightning Deal so got it only for Rs 1100/-.It comes with a chuck key. No drill bit comes with it so I bought Bosch X30Ti Drill Bit Set Separately. Bosch X30Ti Drill Bit and Driver Bit Set (30-Pieces). Read my another review on that Drill Bit Set.It has both Drill & Hammer action switch on the top. It has variable speed, you just need to push trigger harder for more speed. There's also a constant speed button. Press it if you want to keep Drill in one speed only.You can also use 'driver bit' to screw in\out Screws, but be careful as its minimum speed is very high. So don't use it to screw in delicate surfaces.I used it to mount my corner wall shelf, chimney hood, key stand & toilet paper holder. It saved me lot of money till date & i'm sure more in future also.CONS: Only con I see is that its cable length is very small 3 ft & few inches. But you can buy any extension cord for it. It runs on two pin so no special power adapter requirement.IMPORTANT: A drill bit only upto 10mm can be used with this drill, so if you want to drill bigger holes for ex: AC, Geyser etc go for Black & Decker KR554RE 550-Watt 13mm Variable Speed Reversible Hammer Drill Machine
