Read. This. Book.
Not knowing anything about investment, other than I should be...and wasn't, this book was a total game-changer. I'd heard horror stories about expats like me being swindled out of their savings by "sharks in suits" (via non-stop cold-calling etc) but couldn't find any credible information to help me figure out an alternative. As a result, I wasn't saving or investing as I should have been, as I was scared of being ripped off. Until I read this book. It's written in such a way that makes a complicated subject seem really rather simple. And once you've read the book, you'll discover that sensible investing as an expat IS SIMPLE! I now know what I need to do in order to secure my financial future and not let so-called financial advisors take a significant portion of my hard-earned money through high costs and commissions. Don't delay. Read. This. Book.

life changing enlightenment
I always thought that investing was for people with lots of money and fat paycheck and not for an ordinary person like me. I am not a numbers person nor I studied finance. I could never imagine that I would be able to read and understand stock exchange data. My vision would blur with one glimpse on all those numbers in red in green! However, it all changed while I was reading Millionaire Teacher and Millionaire Expat of Andrew Hallam. Of course it took me a while to get out of analysis paralysis situation but I am confident now that I can invest on my own and know how to find info and support if ever in doubt. These 2 books are life changing enlightenment!!

The most beneficial book I have ever read!
Just did not expect a financial book to be so incredibly interesting and humorous, it was such a great read, I could not put the book down. The most important thing was that it actually changed my entire outlook, it educated me, it made me act positively towards my financial future and I would not be surprised if in a few years I can actually say due to this book, it has changed my life!

He breaks them down in a simple manner and explains them with simple and sometimes humorous analogies. This book is so fun and easy to read.
I have read so many books, but never have I read a book so quickly, the book is filled knowledge and golden nuggets, if you have no knowledge in investing you will love this book, If you're an amateur then you have to read it. Although some topics are too long but I can understand as some people do stupid mistakes when investing.
