Nice price and they seem like really good quality too
Really great chaps they fit alot like pants on the calves which is really nice so you don't trip on them like I used to with my other chaps

Great pants, great seller!
Paid for fastest shipping and indeed, the package arrived in LESS than 24 hours. Fantastic! The chaps themselves, were difficult to keep up at the waist. Not the garments fault, He just happens to be over weight and somewhat round. The problem however, was easily solved with an inexpensive pair of suspenders from Walmart. The chaps are a bit heavy but I am glad for that because they appear safer. And finally, my hubby said that they may be too hot to wear on warmer days, but I'll will have to let you know about that... One last thing, spend some time when you receive them trying them and adjusting the waist and leg buckles prior to using them the first time. This can be a bit difficult, but well worth the time spent.

Heavy and bulky
I'm sure these chaps give great protection, but they are really heavy and bulky. I am returning them because I thought they might impede my movement while using a chainsaw. I am new chainsaw owner looking to take down a few smaller trees, but these chaps are definitely for serious woodsmen. As a taller woman, (5'9') I don't usually find that I have a problem with the sizing of gear designed for men, but these seemed giant. I had to roll the waist band twice, and I felt like I was wearing an x-ray apron on my legs...they were that heavy. I'd love this level of protection, but not if the weight and bulkiness could be the cause of me having an accident.

Heavy duty at a good price with nice features
First and foremost, I’m not a sawyer, a logger, or an arborist. I am a cabin owner that needed to buck a 138’ tree in a place where medical attention is hard to get. These are heavy duty, slightly on the stiff side when new. They felt way more protective than other brands including Stihl.Lots of room for adjustment in each size, and for those of us with a shorter inseam the ends are easy to flip up and stay secure. One really handy feature was the pocket over the left thigh. Stihl brand felling wedges were a perfect fit. It’s attached to the chaps at the waist so it’s allowed to swing free as you kneel or bend without digging into your thigh. One of the guys in our group had Stihl brand chaps which had no pocket. Another had a pocket but it was small and sewn all the way around on the thigh. Both were a bit jealous of mine.As far as protection goes- I hope to never actually test that. But again, they have a good thickness and weight to them so I’m confident they would work as intended. One thing that would have been nice was a steel or plastic D ring somewhere on the belt to clip a chainsaw wrench to. I realize pros often wear a separate belt for all of their accessories but again, I’m just a regular guy who doesn’t do this for a living.

Do what they are supposed to do! Hit with chain in the first hour of use!
The chaps are well made! I wish I had ordered the medium size. I wear a 30 inch jean and they are plenty long for me.In the first hour of use I touched the fabric with the chain and put a 1/2 in tear in the leg of the chap. Is there a patch I could put on the tear to protect the fabric underneath the hole.Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Item was returned for refund.
I returned the item. Probably would offer good protection, but I should have paid attention to other reviews before purchase. The apron was heavy and too hot to wear in warm weather. Also, the buckles were awkward to use -- both legs were the same. Not comfortable if folded over to adjust from 42" to 40" length.
