Ethernet beats Wifi anyday
These actually work great. I am using it for home assistant automation using ESPHOME and it is rock solid. I have all kinds of issues with my WiFi devices even though I have a mesh system with 8 routers (2700 sqf). My devices are constantly cutting in and out yet my signal strength is about as good as you can get (29db everywhere in my house). Not sure why this is the case but for those devices I am switching to this device to solve those issues. In my case hard wired ethernet is just the way to go for certain devices.

If you know what you're doing these are wonderful
I did have an issue with the first One that was sent to me. But I'm sure that is a Amazon logistics issue. The unit itself or perfectly fine and is being used in a permanent lighting setup. Please note that these are a little bit difficult to program these don't have a USB port so you do need a USB programmer. But do you think are great.

Pins are in backwards
The board is perfect for what I needed, however unlike the images shown here with no pins, it came with pins soldered in backwards. It's very difficult to embed in a breadboard or in any other PCB because of the pin orientation. Is there a way to get the board without pins so I can solder them in myself like the picture?

Good Luck Getting these to work!
Way too much time and faith thinking this was the right source for an ESP32 board w/ Ethernet for Arduino IDE or ESPHome projects and the 30 days are up for returning. These like most of the sellers are unreliable at best and likely old crappy clones. These are also the old versions of WT32-ETH01 if they did work.Zero docs or examples outside of a useless generic Google Chinglish PDF from 2019 from original maker. ESPTool, ESPHome and Arduino IDE both crash erasing flash when you do figure out how to get it into FW update mode. Then it is RTC RESET rebootings after. Done!Switching back to spending a bit more $$$ for quality stuff that actually works, has procedures documenting getting at least 1 working code example deployed.

Works well.
This worked great and saves space over a separate ethernet adapter plus esp32. Thankfully mine came without the pins soldered at all.

Great microcontroller - not for beginners
This is a great microcontroller for use with Ethernet. It is very fast and programs well with the right programmer, but does take some knowledge for setting it up.

misleading
I thought maybe after the first review you would figure out it should not have the pins soldered to the top side of the board. maybe you should try advertising what you are really selling, with the male header pins attached to the top side of the board. I wont be buying this again, not from this seller. I expect to get exactly what's advertised . and this is not.

Not as advertised
As others have stated the pins are backwards. buyer beware
