Pretty good
I received these just yesterday and then I tied them to my driftwood using a thread and then I planted them into my aquarium and they appear pretty nice. The color was a little bit brownish greenish not super vibrant green yet, but that is expected for something that’s been in transit in the mail. I’m hoping that the color with time will become a vibrant green. I’ve also used some liquid fertilizer to help with this as well as my other plants in my aquarium and time will tell how this holds up. I’m going to keep it attached to my driftwood via a thread for about a month or two before I remove the thread And hopefully it will do well long-term.

Do not buy! Plant caused an infestation of detritus worms.. yuck!!
The media could not be loaded. I’m so mad! 1) these plants caused an infestation of detritus worms in my shrimp tank. They’re eeeeverywhere and it’s disgusting. I can’t really do a deep water change because I have shrimplets in the tank and I don’t want them to get sucked up. 2) I didn’t get anywhere near the amount or the quality of the description picture. It’s advertised so lush and green but I got a tiny baggie of dying plant. I forgot to take a picture straight out of the package but I have pictures after I separated it into my tank 3) delivery was delayed from 2/27 to 3/3 and no live plant sticker for the carrier to even know to take extra care with it. 4) the box came with a contact email so I messaged the seller expressing my dissatisfaction and asked for a replacement as it’s a non-returnable item. Although they apologized, the seller would only send a replacement if I purchased another set of plants because they didn’t want to pay the $5 shipping cost just to send me a replacement. I’m so disappointed and I just got my shrimp tank together and healthy prior to this plant addition. Stay away from this!

Grows very fast, I’m pleased with my order.
Arrived on time and looks healthy. It does show that it’s a small pkg, but it’s a really small amount for the price. I’ll write another review after it grows. I gave it 5 stars because I knew it was pretty small and ordered anyway. There really aren’t a great selection of aquarium plants on Amazon. Here is my update. I received this on June 28th and today is July 8th, 2023. I split the small pkg and put half into my two aquariums. And it just took off growing. It’s grown probably three or more inches already. I have lots of plants in each aquarium also to add oxygen. They are looking great. So don’t worry about the small pkg because it really grows fast. I will buy more plants from this company in the future. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Good! But kinda brown
I got a pretty good portion size that was able to be separated and planted in multiple parts of my 10 gallon tank. I did end up needing to get more moss to cover my rocks and driftwood. I was expecting that the plant would look more like the photo, but it was very brown instead of green. I got it earlier than expected, and I’ve had it in my tank for about 5 days. The moss is doing great and took to my tank immediately, but the color is still pretty brown and not so much green.

Arrived green and healthy! A bunch too!
The media could not be loaded. I left it in the mail for an extra day by accident and when I finally got it, it was all green and healthy! I honestly got a lot more then I expected and it’s a great addition to my REAL succulents in my fish tank, I recommend succulents too (if they have roots) my guppies love it! The moss arrived in perfect condition and after an hour it’s already expanding and flowing out. Love this seller!! I know my fish tank is a little over crowded but I got them in a 5 gallon with nothing but rainbow gravel and a Nemo statue. Anyway if your hesitant to order from this seller at least know that the Java moss gets here on time and healthy!

Snails! Thanks for the free stuff
I purchased the buy two get one free deal. Not sure what I was expecting. Maybe something not so covered in brown goo? I definitely didn't want the snails.I cleaned it up as best as I could before putting it in my tank. I placed them in a mason jar first to see if there were hitchhikers. There were. I got most of them before the drop. Since it was all separated and cleaned off as best I could without damaging the moss. No way to fasten it down now that it is in strands. So it's all over. I just let the currents carry it to where it lives now. A lot of it is darker green now so I know it's not dying. So far I've pulled 8 additional snails from the walls. So I have a healthy population at least. My nitrile snails do not like them and pull away when one comes close. It was as described, the groups of Java moss.Star rating is based on the hitchhikers and the gunk. Didn't want that kind of snail in this tank. To late now. Overall the moss looks to be getting established. Once it's going strong (out not) I'll revisit and update. It's been a long time since I had moss growing in one of my tanks.Thank you for the deal. That made it worth it to me.

Quality Sturdy Java Moss!
Reading reviews is important, but you have to take them with context as many experiences will vary. Luckily, mine was a very positive one! The Java moss arrived quicker than anticipated which was a lovely surprise. The individual mosses were packaged neatly, although I was concerned that they seemed slightly less wet than I anticipated. It didn't seem to bother the moss so much so I suppose it wasn't much of an issue at all! Days later I have been quarantining my new moss (will be introduced to a sensitive tank) and they are thriving thus far. Just been changing out the water everyday, using a few drops of fertilizer, and keeping it near bright indirect light. Can't wait to add it to my system!
