Excellent & reasonably priced softbox. lightweight, easy to assemble, and the double diffuser provides very soft and even lighting for professional-quality results. Highly recommended

I purchased this Digitech camera light expecting at least decent performance for basic photography needs, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a total disappointment. The build quality feels extremely cheap, the light output is weak and inconsistent, and it doesn’t serve any real purpose in a proper setup. It’s essentially unusable for serious work.What’s worse, the return option was not available, which adds to the frustration. I feel like I wasted my money on a completely useless product. Definitely would not recommend this to anyone – there are far better alternatives out there at similar prices

I recently purchased the **Digitek® DSB-65 Bowens Portable Octagon Softbox**, and while it has some useful features, it doesn't fully meet expectations given its price range.Pros:- The softbox provides decent soft lighting for portrait photography or video shoots, thanks to its double diffuser cloth. It does help in reducing harsh shadows.- The octagonal shape is perfect for creating more natural-looking catchlights in subjects' eyes, which is a great plus for portraiture.- It is relatively easy to set up and attach to Bowens mount lights, making it convenient for quick shoots.Cons:- The overall build quality feels a bit flimsy for the price. The materials used don’t seem as durable as expected, and I fear it may not last long with regular use.- The functionality and ease of operation are not as smooth as shown in the product images. Some features appear slightly different in practice, making the assembly process more awkward than expected. The mechanism to hold the softbox open feels fragile and sometimes tricky to lock in place.- The portability is decent, but it’s bulkier than anticipated, making it less ideal for on-the-go shoots.For the price point, I expected better quality and user experience. If you're on a budget and need a basic softbox, it could work, but there are better options in the same range that offer improved build quality and ease of use.
