Good update to the original look of the character. It lacks the fun detail of firing weapons, but it's fine.

Predicons Terrorize. I loved Tarantula. He was his generation Star-Scream.

Very special figure, definitely worth it to any beast wars or just transformers fan, great plastic quality with little place for paint chipping and great detail all over it along with a fun, simple, and effective transformation.

This toy is an improvement over the 1996 version in almost every way...almost. His head-sculpt in vastly more show-accurate, he's the right shade of purple, he has greater articulation and he is only a little harder to transform. His spider legs and robot arm pop off fairly easily, but they snap right back on just as easily. My only major complaint is that his gun is too puny and barely looks like it does in the show.

I like that it was just difficult enough to challenge, but not frustrate. The Grandson was thrilled with the gift and everyone was enjoying. Great product.
