Drastically improves Lightroom workflow ergonomics
As a professional photographer, sometimes I have to plow through several hundred photos at a time in Lightroom. LR's shortcuts are logical, but not ergonomical when your hand has to hold the same position for hours at a time. I was having repetitive use injuries from the hand positions and thumb contortions I needed to make to process albums quickly. After years of trying to solve that (including with a playstation controller - neat idea that never worked for me), I bought this. The software is easy to figure out, and with a 3' cable it's portable and comfortable to use with my Macbook Pro. The mechanical clicking is very click-y, if you're into that (Working alone, it's easy to ignore, but if I'm co-working with someone I get a little self conscious). The program can remember different shortcuts for different programs/use cases, and when switching programs you just "flash" the keypad to instantly change what shortcuts are assigned to what keys. It's also very easy to reconfigure so you can fine-tune your ergonomics (so easy that I sometimes feel like a Wall-E person because I can do all my work while barely moving my fingertips). A handy translucent map floats over your window so you can remember your key assignments. The 9-key option is about as many keys as I can remember, and honestly it's more operations than I frequently use - plus my regular keyboard is inches away. I highly recommend adding one of these to your workflow if there's annoying physical or mental friction in your processes!

Perfect for data and admin work
This was crazy easy to set up, barely glanced at the instructions. I like that it shows a mini keypad on my screen with all my key codes clearly labeled. Very helpful as I learn the new keypad, and unobtrusive given that I have a multiscreen setup for work.I purchased this for extremely specific usage. I code and do a LOT of formatting, copying, editing, drafting, and cleaning data in Excel and other software, and hitting ctrl+x, ctrl+, ctrl+v, etc really messes with my hands after a few hours. Related, I use both a righthand and a lefthanded mouse so I can switch off and even out the burden of my computer work, so I can give each wrist a break for a time. But it's nearly impossible to do that when doing data work in Excel for example, since I need my lefthand to hit ctrl+c/ctrl+v and my right hand to mouse. Recently developed golfers elbow in my right wrist as a result (yay). This hotkey keypad lets me finally really try out giving my right wrist a break on intense workdays. It isn't a magical solution, but it definitely helps 😉

Legit Spyware
I didn't like the .cn link in the manual so I went to the website. Should have definitely looked more into this product. It runs a .exe file which you should never really run but Norton (I will be complaining to them soon) gave a green light, installed then I got a network access notification from Nortan. I clicked the x thinking this will kill the program and I'll look into that. Well I guess Norton didn't care even tho I didn't allow access I got 3 updates of sending out a signal. Which again Norton didn't catch nor did I approve.Only noticed when my CPU got all clogged up and saw 8 vaydeer programs running 4 had high power and CPU usage and the other 4 I couldn't tell you what they were besides one being the overlay. It still works with all processes turned off so I have NO idea what it was trying to communicate to another server for because the pad works offline with no background programs running. Here's hopping it's just a crypto miner and I didn't just my identity stolen.Do not buy this, nothing from this company can be trusted.

Almost Superb
It does what it is designed to do very well with a couple of minor issues. The weight of the device is very light and the cable is very stiff. It is hard to get it to stay in one place because the cable will push it. For touch typists, this will drive you nuts.On some keys, and this is very idiosyncratic, the play back is slower that typing while on others it can be very fast. This will throw your timing off.It is still worth the money.

Good price for Onboardish Memory and a App overlay
Only have had this for 1 day but so far it's been working as expected. For the price of $30, you're getting a mechanical keypad that comes equipped with onboard memory. This means that if you unplug it and connect it to another computer without the application, it can still retain keystrokes and texts. Moreover, it boasts a macro keypad with an app that offers a variety of user-friendly features. You can easily configure it for specific functions like launching .exe files, creating system-specific macros, and even utilizing a built-in macro recorder. The biggest con and actually only Con, but probably only for those that are tech savvy, isn't that it's a download from a chinese site. BUT if you try closing the Application since it has an overlay, it doesn't actually close. You have to go into task manager and close all 5 .exe's. (which is most likely due to the forced overlay it has.For onboard memory - Just make sure whatever you save, you don't pick the save as Application for the text string. That will not work.In summary, this mechanical keypad offers promising functionality at an affordable price point. Its onboard memory and versatile app make it a valuable tool for users seeking macro capabilities. Just be prepared for the slightly unconventional software behavior when closing the application.
