This was a disappointing purchase. When it was new, it was tricky to use but it got the job done. The chamber filled up with the shavings quickly, so to treat one sweater, I had to stop several times to awkwardly clean out the chamber and get all the fuzz out of the blades. But then after a year, it stopped working completely because it wouldn't charge up. I plug it in, and the light doesn't go on. If I press the button, the motor springs to life for one second, but then dies, even if it's plugged in. I reported this to the company, and because I was passed the one-year warranty period, they wouldn't do anything except give me a coupon to buy a brand new device. I think $65 is too much to spend on a device that only works for a year, and now I'll be sending mine to the landfill, which makes me sad.

I got this to remove pills from a fleece. It does an ok job but I only have the fleece about a third done and have had to recharge it at least five times. Disappointing.

Shocked at how much better this works! I have a cheapo shaver and just keep replacing the batteries. I thought I’d ask for this for the winter holidays. My cashmere sweaters look like new! And the LESs you press, the better it works. That was a surprise too! It is very satisfying. Also, I thought it was slowing down because I needed to charge, but actually it just needed to be emptied. Be sure to get the fuzz under the blades. That’s the main clogging part. Great little device. You won’t be sorry.

The media could not be loaded. I've maintained my Pilo 2 carefully and regularly clean the interior of the device with a soft bristle to remove fabric and other debris every usage.The problem with my Pilo 2 is that the internal circuitry where the main motherboard is connected to the battery has shorted out and will no longer deliver sufficient power for continuous use. The battery is 100% charged, and you can tell during my diagnostic run that it is because some of that power is still making it to the motor, but the motherboard stops the operation since there is a short circuit.

I must be doing something wrong. This is the second time I've bought this shaver and it still doesn't work. I charged it over night and the light comes on but when I take it off the charger and try it, it will turn on once and then stop. Is there a toggle someplace that should be turned on or off? I can't believe two shavers wouldn't work.

The unit in one instance turned on and didn't shutoff. Kept buzzing, until I found fabric that bunches up. That seemed to stop the motor so it would stop spinning. I was able to shut it off after that. It worked fine for a few days after that. The second mechanical issue happened when the shaver would turn on, but as soon as it touches the fabric, it shuts off. Or when it is flipped upside down, it shuts off instantly. I can't find a solution for this, so I contacted the seller. I have video of both these issues. So I can post them. However amazon only allows one video per review.Seems like a nice gadget, but it is unreliable. It is incredibly frustrating. When it works, it works great. Hopefully I can find a fix.I know, first world problems. I wanted to have a higher end de-piller, and this is what I got. Hope it helps.Update: February 16 2023 or so. We charged the device completely and both issues disappeared. It charged overnight. The motor sounded stronger and it didn’t hesitate when being placed on fabric. Also no shutting off. Hope it keeps working like this.
