I was looking for an upright vacuum cleaner and ran across this. I saw it had great reviews, so I thought I would get one. It is nice just letting it roam the house and do my work for me. No more back breaking vacuuming for me. :)

The media could not be loaded. I found this on Amazon looking for a vacuum. I wasn’t looking for a robot but I figured I’d try it. So far it’s been great! I have 2 young children and a very small dog. I have mostly hard wood floors and it really saves me so much time and keeps my floors cleaner. I’m pretty ocd about my floors and making sure that nothing sticks to the bottom of my feet, so running this on a regular basis helps keep dust and any particulates off the floor.It’s very easy to set up and also easy to control via app or with the remote. I set a run schedule in the app so that it’s running on a regular basis.It’s also pretty quiet, I can hear TV and also not wake up a sleeping baby.I do empty it out after every room but that’s also super easy to do, also without making a mess or spilling the contents.It was a great price especially compared to regular or other robot vacuum cleaners.I haven’t used the mop function yet but that function also seems user friendly. I don’t think it would be good for a deep cleaning, but for light cleaning or mopping.I have a large main floor and it has a great run time!I still use a regular vacuum once a week to really get the carpeted area and rugs very clean, but it’s not as big of a chore as it would be without this robot.It comes with an extra brush set, a cleaning tool, an extra filter, a remote with batteries, and a user guide.It’s definitely a great buy and user friendly!

TLDR: Easy-ish setup. Ran it 8 times over 4 months, worked fine. 5 months in, unit is dead. Support is non-existent. Zero accountability from seller. If you gamble on this, buy the SquareTrade Protection.If you had asked me just a month ago, I would have given this product a glowing review. As a vacuum, it did a thorough job of LIGHT duty cleanup. Based on reviews (of robot vacuums in general) I tempered my expectations and knew to use it for day-to-day cleanup as opposed to deep cleaning. I also never got around to using the mop feature because I didn't want to push it too hard.If you 'help it help you' by doing some prep work before you run it -- such as pulling up large debris, cords, flimsy rugs, fragile decor and setting up barricades for areas where the vacuum will get stuck -- it does a pretty darn good job.But today, just 5 months after purchase, it is dead as a doornail. The app is blaming a connection issue, but the unit itself has no power. Checked the internet, checked that it's 2.4ghz, checked the outlet -- all working. Cleaned the contacts, no dice. I connected surprisingly easily to a human via the Tuya website, but the human asked almost no diagnostic questions (and offered 0 troubleshooting advice) before they decided it was a hardware issue and told me they couldn't help me and to contact the seller. But the order details page of Amazon doesn't give a way to contact seller --only a statement that the return window closed in August, and that product support window closed in October. Now what?If the seller is reading this, please help. I would love nothing more than to revise my review.

The remote control, on the other hand, is truly a gem. I was nervous to purchase and then use this robot vacuum cleaner. The deal seemed too good for all the 5 star ratings. I mean the parts alone has to cost most more than what I paid. Then once I received it, all 5 star ratings had me believing this was the best robot vacuum and mop out there. I don't know about the former, but the latter is incorrect. It's not the best, but you still get a steal of a deal for what you pay for. It vacuumed up minuscule crumb and dirt and the mopping wasn't too bad. I would just recommend it running for two cycles to get the mopping you would like. However, I checked the mop pad and it was dirty, so it is picking something up. I think my expectations were also set too high when it felt like I was taking parts of it apart to get all of the vacuum box cleaned out, the hair and dust bunny out from the wheels, rinsing the filter, then washing the mop pad. Later in the evening I went to a friend's house who paid 8x what I did, but still became quite jealous of the self-eliminating, self-cleaning robot vac they just got.
