Great shower tap fitting! It was easy to fit and works great, looks smart and keeps the heat even at height. It works brilliantly and it's great value for money! Cheap and easy shower solution, glad I did my research on this one. Pressure is really good but I did attach a different shower head.

This Croydex unit costs quite a bit more than the old-fashioned items like we used to have to stick onto our sink taps when I was a kid. About three times the price in fact. But seeing as how those ones were never much good, and the Croydex had such good reviews, and bearing in mind that I was seeking a solution to last a while, since my shower is out of action for a couple of months until I can get some major electrical work done, and baths are so much more time consuming, I decided to take a chance and go for it. Good decision.The quality of manufacture is a world away from the cheapo versions, and the length of the hose is plenty to reach the full length of the bath and up to my full height so I can still stand behind the splashscreen. The clever tap-straps allow for a strong flow of water without the risk of the rubbers flying off the taps like the cheap versions do, resulting in a properly powerful shower. And not a leak in sight anywhere along the length of the unit.As it's a temporary arrangement I haven't bothered with the riser-rail, the shower-head hooks nicely onto the hanging hose of my currently inactive electric shower, and that arrangement is fine for now. Assembly of the unit is easy following the clear instructions, and wouldn't even be difficult in their absence. As some have pointed out in earlier reviews, getting the rubbers onto the taps is the only tricky part, they are quite strong and inflexible. I solved the problem by smearing a layer of sexual lubricant onto each tap and around the rim of each rubber, and they popped on without any further struggle. Handy stuff for all kinds of diy!Personally, I'm going to leave them on all the time, so as to preclude any possibility of loosening up, though I've no reason to believe that would happen, I'm just being extra cautious. I would just mention also that I selected a water-based lubricant, firstly to be sure that it didn't have any adverse effect on the rubber, and secondly because it would be completely washed away as soon as the water passed through, ensuring it didn't cause slippage in use.To conclude, this Croydex shower spray is well worth the premium over the basic versions, because it actually does the job required of it and doesn't fly off the tap leaving either freezing cold or scorching hot water pouring over the user, and it feels like it'll stand the test of time too.

I gave 4 stars only, because the water squirts out of the rubber part that goes over the front of the taps, but I can get a half decent shower. I wasn't expecting it to be brilliant but does the job whilst I get myself sorted in my new flat and so I can afford to have a power shower installed. I haven't fitted the pole to the tiled area as of yet, as I've not had time to get a shower curtain and pole as only moved a couple of days ago but it looks quite simple to put up. It's good value for money, as like I've already said, I get a shower just don't have your expectations too high. Delivery was very quick too!

I was very sceptical buying it as a temporary fix until our new shower is fitted.Needed small adjustment to fit over bathtub taps but it's a very snug fit, no leaks and the holder is brilliant!

Excellent .. I am a big moaner about the poor quality and suitability of goods but this really does exactly as promoted and expected!! Simple to assemble pretty nice quality for the price and it really does function!! would highly recommend it! To avoid disappointment just ensure the taps are the right shape for it then there’s zero leakage!!

Good spray quality comes out fast just disappointed that it leaks when turning cold tap on looks like it's faulty . Need a new part which I can't seen to find yet

I've waited a couple of weeks before leaving this review. This product was easy to fit and works well and that's from a 50 yr old female! I found it easier to fit onto the taps by wetting the tap, this helped it slide on. Check the type of taps you have before purchasing. This unit appears to best fit older taps like mine. It has a helpful guide on the box of which taps type it is suite for and which it isn't. Use the washers that are included to avoid leaks and make a good seal. Water flow is nice out of the shower head. Easy to clean and good value for money.

Lasted just over two years, so not too bad. Easy to fit, no leaks. It would be ideal if you could replace the tap fittings, as it is always those which split. Saves money by using the gas hot water instead of electric power shower.
