Excellent!
Works well giving wide range of coverage. Used with 100m Cat 6 ethernet cable to give Internet in building remote from house. Provides good Internet with no noticeable loss of speed. Just follow the instructions step by step and fairly easy to set up - even if you have no tech expertise. Use a short ethernet cable near to router when setting up as need to do things on router and WAP in timed order, then relocate WAP to final position when done. Be patient. Can look as if not working when relocated to final position - takes a while to start up and register and for all lights to come on.Better solution than point to point extenders. Just be careful with ethernet cable - any kinks will impact on performance and try not to route near electrical cables / devices.

Easy to install, produced better signal
After a long time of the family complaining I got this to install inside our home. It's not that different from the next version up, so you could technically go for the higher version at not much of a cost. Verses a standard router from an internet company like Virgin media, it provides a large increase. Notably the signal can pierce areas in which it could not before, so the change was very visible. It also provided a 70-100mhz speed increase vs the standard virgin media router. To be accurate, this is not a lie. There was really a 70+Mhz increase in wifi speed verses the old router. Overall, I haven't had a complaint about the wifi yet.Overall, works a treat and required very little setup. I was actually surprised how easy it was as I was expecting to have to do a lot more. May be slightly confusing to less tech savy users, but even they shouldn't struggle that much.

WiFi is unstable and weak
I have two of these purchased at the same time from Amazon about 1 week ago. The WiFi signal is not strong, weaker than the standard plusnet router. I have found the WiFi signal, particularly with iPads, to be unstable dropping out and reconnecting constantly, sometimes every 10 seconds. Web pages not fully loading due to unstable WiFi. iPads are fine with other access points. Did the usual firmware upgrades, reboot, reset etc. and no different. Happens even when a few meters away from the access point. Scanned WiFi channels and no conflicts. Other reviewers seem to have experienced the same. Have a case open with netgear, will update once they respond.

Good access point - be aware it's POE+
Good access point and covers a wide area in my house. However, be aware it is POE+ and needs a suitable switch or POE+ injector to run it.Only downside is the price is a little expensive for a WAP only and boot up seems to take ages.

Nice AP.
looks alright, nice web interface, easy to set up. My Internet speed was increased amazingly ( my ISP router is wifi 5, this AP is wifi 6. Wifi Speed jumped from around 320 Mbps to around 460Mbps ) nice performance, quality seems good build (doesn't feel cheap plastic) my wifi range expanded around 5m extra. It's sad that I didn't get power adapter but luckily I have spare one. For price what I payed it's really good AP.

Things are better with OpenWRT...
with the stock rom, this AP runs at near 90% RAM utilization, and whereas the access point works, there are very few options in the firmware to set up WiFi as desired.Netgear, Meet OpenWRT.The access point starts so much faster, Memory usage is tenfold lower (10-15% ram used), a whole store of packages available and more functionality than Johnny 5 on Input, including but not limited to VLans, Firewall, DHCP/Relay etc.

Slow and ‘flaky’ signal
This was supposed to replace my current aging device with something that promised better performance, however, it proved to be slower at both close and far range. I was disappointed with both 2.4 and 5 ghz.
