Universal square-hole rack depth adapter
Perfect for use with my StarTech 42U four post rack. I made the rack very deep (900mm) when I constructed it, which was fine for all but two devices (both from Dell). Using this adapter meant my Dell sliding rail would fit properly in the rack.This adapter kit is suitable for almost any 2U device and square-hole rack, and works to either increase or reduce the rack depth. If this is what you're looking for, this is the right adapter for the job.

Worded well. Patch panel now recessed so the cabinet door closes. Nice.
Brackets were stiff enough so equipment wobble didn't happen, despite being further back from the front rails.The brackets came with M5 screws and T-nuts however for the brackets themselves (not the standard M6) so don't get things mixed up with your original equipment.

Worth the money
Fitted my rack perfectly and does the job, if your rack mounted unit is heavy you might get a little twisting though

These are really handy in a limited space rack.

Good product but needs improvements to be more useful.
Nice and sturdy. There is an issue with the design begin in the Z shape and wider than the rail causes some interfearence. Would prefer a C shape with much tighter bends as I had to extend out of the front rather than back as it would push against the PDU and bend the rails inwards.

Fine, but not too study...
I ordered these to allow extra clearance at the bottom of a vertical rack, but they started to bow under the load. I'm sure they'd be great in horizontal operation, but if you're looking to use them in a vertical rack, I'd keep looking!

Got me out of a fix
Little bit light weigh to support an amp, but it got me out of a fix when I found the rack was shallower than expected. Unless the item you are mounting is very light weigh I would recommend additional support and to use these just to stop movement back to front or side to side.
