A wee bit expensive, figure maybe a quarter per modest serving, but worth it for the trouble these save. The flavor and texture are great, just like homemade, though I'd prefer a tiny bit less salt. They're so very easy to make; for me I put a little bowl of 1/2 c. of water in the microwave, nuke for 45 sec. to 1 minute, add 1/4 c of pearls right away and stir them in with a fork. Smooth, delish. I you wait to stir it or your water isn't hot it will lump up a bit, so get with it right away! The bag makes a lot of servings too. A con: Potato Pearls are very tough to obtain. It took a couple months and more than one try by Amazon to get them for me. I hope this is corrected by the time I need more!
