Works well and has a high build quality
My Marantz SR5015, purchased January 2021, started dropping the audio randomly in February 2025. No conditions had changed in my home, I checked all my connections and what not, everything was fine. I placed a small box fan next to the receiver and the audio turned back on. So it was an overheating issue. Being out of warranty and not wanting to have a box fan constantly blowing on my receiver, I immediately thought of AC Infinity as I've bought many of their products over the years and they've always been high quality. I purchased the rear-venting Aircom T8 and have been very happy with it. It's heavy duty, elegant, well made, and the front curvature aligns perfectly with me Marantz. It's a little bit deeper than my receiver so it hangs off the back a bit but keeping it flush in front with my receiver still has the fans lined up perfectly with the top vents of the Marantz, plus the bottom pads are still on the receiver. I played around with the Auto and Smart features quite a bit and, after doing testing and looking at research online, went with the Auto feature. The fan speed at 2 seemed to work the best but the noise bothered me slightly. I bumped it down to the lowest speed of 1 and it still is able to drop the temperature adequately. I have it set to turn on at 85 degrees, drop to 81 degrees, alarm at 95 degrees. So far it's never gone above 85 degrees! In reading reviews, the top-venting model has a lower dB although I wish these fans were just a little quieter. The instructions are just ok, you have to read every Mode setting carefully as they contain settings that affect how the Auto and Smart modes work. My recommendations to AC Infinity is to use quieter fans and update your instructions to be clearer!

Easy to install, easy to configure, looks great, and extremely quiet
I was originally concerned about noise, because places often say their products are quiet, and then I find out the fans are louder than they led me to believe. That is not the case with this, especially if you use the "smart" configuration feature, which steps up the speed of the fan every 2 or 4 degrees in a range of temperatures, so it can begin cooling without adding noise. As a result, I've seen it increase to Step 1 (lowest fan setting) many times to keep my Denon AVR cool, and it usually remains there, or shuts off when it cools it down a bit. I've only once seen it go up to Step 2 (out of 5 steps I think, where step 5 is the max fan speed), and it only remained there for a short bit before going back down to step 1. Even when operating at step 2 (i.e. speed 2 out of 5), I had to struggle to try to hear it in a quiet room.Pros:1) It looks nice, and matches my Denon AVR nicely, in color, shape, and dimensions.2) There are several models that allow you to choose what works best for you: air pushed to the front, the rear, or straight upward. I chose the T8, which pushes air backward, since I have an open entertainment center, and the heat can escape out the back. But they give you the option to choose which model is right for you: T8, T9, or T10.3) Easy to "install". Basically, take it out of the box, set it on top of your AVR, and plug it in. It'll work right out of the box, and is that simple.4) Easy to configure. If you don't want out-of-the-box default functionality, which I didn't, there are several operating modes you can choose from, and the instruction manual along with the interface controls make it very easy to figure out how to configure it -- very intuitive. I opted for the "smart" mode, which steps the fan speeds up and down as it automatically senses the temperature from the device. This uses less electricity, generates less noise, and is basically worry free.Cons:1) It's kind of expensive. I was thinking of switching to a T10 model (front facing exhaust), in case I get a different entertainment center, but it was so expensive, I didn't want to spend the extra money, so I'm just sticking with my current entertainment center and the T8 rear-exhaust. I wish it was a bit less money, but I was obviously still willing to pay it. I probably would not have if it was very much more, and would've just opted to buy some other cheap fans for the top of my AVR.OVerall, it's a very good, high quality product, and I recommend it. Just make sure to purchase the correct model for your needs: T8 - Rear Exhaust; T9 - Top Exhaust; T10 - Front Exhaust.

Keep Amplifier/Receiver Cool
Perfect for keeping receiver from getting too hot in closed area. Does make quiet sound but not noticeable a few feet away. Receiver must have air vent slots on top cover to promote air flow by this device.

Works as expected
The device does what I hoped, cools my sometimes hot-running Onkyo receiver. I am using the SMART setting, which adjusts the fan power according to the amount of heat being generated by the receiver. For example, the receiver seems to run at around 78 degrees under nominal load, and when it hits this temperature, the fan turns on it's lowest setting. When I am listening to something loud for a sustainable amount of time, the receiver temperature raised to 88 degrees. At this point the fan kicked on at its third highest setting, keeping the receiver at or around this temperature. You can set the device to adjust to your desired max temperature, and when it reaches this temperature it will be firing on all cylinders. You can also set an ALARM temperature, when the device will sound an alarm if it reaches this temperature, 98 degrees for example. I also appreciate the ability to change the led brightness or turn it off altogether, my preference for movie nights - complete darkness. Thus far, I like what I am experiencing and would recommend this device.

Works great…but not perfectly quiet
Sits on top of a denon receiver which runs hot, . Temperature set to 85 degrees…and it keeps it at 84. It’s just a bit louder than I expected. But, ya can’t here it if the volume is higher than low. It’s winter and house is 68 degrees. Hopefully works as well in summer when house is 76. I recommend.
