This is THE device to get if you’re looking for a retro gaming handheld for GBA and N64. DO NOT buy this expecting it to be loaded with quality games and fun out of the box. You’re paying for the hardware, the software and included games suck. That said it is worth every penny if you take the time to set it up properly. Throw away the SD card it comes with, buy a SanDisk, load it with ‘AmberELEC’ firmware, and get your games from ‘Vimm’s Lair’ or your own sources. You can do this even if you’re not tech savvy using a guide from ‘RetroGameCorps’. I’m pretty computer illiterate and I figured it out in a couple hours.The true downsides:- Screen is a bit small by today’s standards. Not the best for extended gaming sessions- Joysticks sticks make it not very pocketable unless you buy a separate case- Fair amount of learning/tinkering to get it set up properly

The battery dies in a few hours. It was advertised that you can save your game progress but if the game dies or is turned off nothing saves. Not under favorites or when you click back into the game. Very disappointed. It seemed to have great reviews until I googled my issues with it and there are lots of people with these issues.

I wish it had the capability to download mobile games on it such as Candy crush saga

It's a great price for a handheld device. Best for playing Game Boy Advance and PSP games.

Good little unitbut the life of this system is the SD card...that is where all the games are loadedout of the box it is missing most of the classics you probably bought this for. There are ways to add games and or buy FULLY LOADED SD cards, but this review is based on OUT OF THE BOX experience.
