Amazing product there is so much in there. There's a book to identify each fossil and information on each one. Bought for a teen definitely one for older kids and even adults, not that younger kids wouldn't also love it. The brushes work really well to help remove the fossils as quite hard bristles to use properly. Amazing value for money, super fun, very good size, lots of info and all round fab kit.

My son really loved this product. Contains real fossils and the book that comes with it that describes the fossils was excellent.The highlight for him was a large , well detailed partial trilobite and a mosasaur tooth.Well worth the money and a good few hours of fun.

This was a gift for the 7th birthday of a son of a dear friend, and her son is MAD about fossils....and he absolutely loved it! If you know a child that's interested in archaeology or fossils or science....this is a great gift. I bought something similar for my godchildren nearly 20 yrs ago, and they loved it too. It gives them time to enjoy something; anticipation & excitement of what they might find; teaches patience...and creates more memories than just sitting in front of a screen. Money well spent for the smiles & happiness it brought...not only for the child but the family sharing that moment with them.

My son chose this to get with his birthday money and he's absolutely delighted. It took hik an hour easily to get the various fossils out and it was a lovely activity to do together. The fossils themselves seem genuine and the book is a great addition to learn more about his new treasures.Good value and much hefty size than some I've seen for similar money.

My granddaughter was keen to use this. How ever the ‘plaster like’ block the fossils were in was very hard and the plastic tool with the kit was not up to the job. We used two screwdrivers to open up the plaster.The information booklet was useful but there were no instructions on how to break up the block to get to the fossils.

My 8 year old son had a great couple of hours excavating the fossils!Absolutely loved it, and was happy with the results.Great purchase.

Great entertainment for kids.

Great little fossil set. A good variety of fossils to find, including an ammonite which my 5-year-old grandson was thrilled to find. He was probably a touch too young to do this on his own as the clay is surprisingly hard to chip away. But then I suppose it shouldn't be too easy. I would say this set was equally as good as the more expensive branded set, with more fossils and a good bit cheaper too.
