This case is very well designed with plenty of pockets and storage ideal for your docs & keepsakes. Locks are there to keep honest people out of the case, so don't expect strong security. Good to know if you lose key or combo. ;) Hopefully I can give a positive review on function in case of fire. Until then, I'll put a little trust in the mfg's claims.

Small enough to fit on a book shelf and look discrete. Perfect for important documents, passports and credit cards not being used.

I expected it to be a little more solid. It definitely feels more like a little suitcase, than a file box. I hope that it is more fireproof than it feels! I like the organization inside for sure!

Bought this one to replace the solid boxes I have had for years. One of them actually split open when I had in my garage over a cold northern winter. Gave me an excuse to look for other options. This one is light weight and a good reason to trim down on stuff that needs to be locked in it. Yes, it's small and shapeless. No idea how it would hold up to fire or water. There are plenty of video reviews to form your own opinion. I am not convinced putting it on a stovetop or tossing it in a backyard firepit is indicative of its fire retarding ability. Neither is the video of trying to spray it with a waterhose. I mean, really, the water pressure from a fire department hose is a bit more than my garden hose.The lock is nice touch but not theft proof. All it takes is a knife to get through it. Then again, getting into a 60 lbs monstrosity only requires a drill and a 1/4" bit -- lock open. Done that myself when I lost the keys.This one holds the items/documents that really need saving and goes in my backpack if I need to get out in a hurry. Problem solved.

I like how many pockets there are. Different sizes, some with zippers so that's nice! The lock works pretty well too. Haven't had to use it to protect against any fires yet but I'm happy to have the security just in case!

I was looking for a hard safe, which is what I'd consider a box. This is soft material, so I was disappointed.

Best one overall. Light. Comfortable handle. Easy to find in dark. Every family needs one.
