Incredible Sound in a Compact Package!
I’ve been using my JBL portable Bluetooth speaker for a month now, and I couldn’t be happier. The sound quality is crisp, clear, and surprisingly powerful for its size. The bass is deep without being overwhelming, and it doesn’t distort even at high volumes.Pairing with my phone was instant, and the Bluetooth connection is super stable—I can walk across the room without any dropouts. The battery life is excellent (easily 10–12 hours on a single charge), and I love that it’s waterproof, making it perfect for beach days, showers, or camping. The build is solid and durable, and the sleek design fits in anywhere—from my kitchen to my backpack. It’s lightweight, charges quickly, and the buttons are easy to use even in low light.Overall, this is hands down one of the best portable speakers I’ve owned. If you're looking for quality, portability, and reliability, JBL nails it.

Small boom box w/excellence!
This little box blew me away. All I needed it for was with my laptop and phone and it is perfect for travelling. But the best thing is I can use it connect with my laptop and it will blast you away. I had seen it before with other folks playing and attaching it to their backpacks and I always said the bass was incredible. It so happened my friend went to the phone store and that is where I decided to get one and no disappointment. Oh and I played it all night sleeping and still playing this morning until now at 11:38 am as I made sure I charged it yesterday, but it came ready to play. You can also connect on the laptop and phone, so you can play your music on your phone and if you watch youtube the music will pause and do youtube, but you don't have to disconnect from one to the other. I found that out myself.

Small but mighty!
I picked up the JBL Go 4 (Squad) for our family’s summer outings, and it has seriously impressed me. Despite its compact size, this little speaker packs surprisingly powerful sound with deep, punchy bass that’s more than enough for backyard hangouts, beach days, and camping trips.✅ Portability: It's ultra-light and fits easily in my hand, backpack, or even clipped to a belt loop.✅ Waterproof & Dustproof: It’s been splashed at the pool, dropped in the sand, and even survived a surprise rain shower with no issues.✅ Battery Life: We’ve consistently gotten around 7 hours of playtime, and it charges back up quickly.✅ Design: The Squad colorway is bold, fun, and easy to spot. I also love that it’s made in part with recycled materials—feels like a more eco-conscious choice.✅ Easy Pairing: Bluetooth connects instantly with my phone, and there’s no lag or dropout, even from across the yard. The sound quality is where it really shines. Crisp sound and bass that thumps for such a tiny speaker. It’s honestly better than some larger models I’ve owned in the past.If you're looking for a rugged, stylish, and great-sounding portable speaker that you can take anywhere, the JBL Go 4 is an awesome choice—especially at this price point. Highly recommend!

Outstanding rich, loud sound
Wow! I had been using the older Go2 of this. What an upgrade! I also ordered the Sony - XB100 because it was reported as comparable. The JBL Go4 is 1/2 the size of the Sony. I set up a careful test to compare the JBL Go4 volume with the Sony, but the difference was laughable. The JBL blew it out of the water. This thing is a beast capable of providing rich loud sound. (From my upstairs home office, I could still clearly hear it downstairs, through the family room, and out at the far corner of my back porch).

Really good for the size
Honestly really impressive volume and sound quality for the size. I like it for the convenience and portability. I bought it to mostly use at work, and it's nice having something that sounds good but is super small, doesn't take up a lot of space, easy to move around with me, I can just throw it in my pocket. The only thing I'm disappointed in is the battery life. The listing says 7 hours of play, but I've had it fully charged and 2 days in a row it didn't even make it a full 5 hours. I havnt had it on maximum volume but I have had it on high volume. I'm wondering of when they say 7 hours of play they mean low volume lol. Still good overall, but was hoping that when fully charged it would last for almost an entire 8 hour shift you know?Either way, still probably one of the best small speakers in this size range. Gonna be great for hiking and stuff like that as well, anytime you want some tunes on the go when you're out and about. Mostly just wanted to leave a review to let other people know what to realistically expect with the battery life. 5 hours is still pretty good considering the size and sound quality. Just think products should be accurately represented and not embellished. If they said 5 hours and that's what it was then I have no reason to be disappointed. I still would have bought it. But when you exaggerate specs on something then you have a discrepancy between expectations and reality.
