Very Nice Bureau!
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this bureau for the price! It’s solid and sturdy, the drawers glide nicely and the wood is real with a beautiful natural finish. Fairly easy to put together, took two of us about an hour.

Beautiful dresser!
This dresser is just beautiful! I’m very impressed with the quality. I initially looked at west elm, but this one is almost identical to the one there, for much less. It’s pretty sturdy, so I believe it will hold up well over time. Assembly was easy, but time consuming due to the number of pieces. I was jealous of the reviewer who built this beast in 4 hours. I’m not great at assembly, but I was able to do this buy myself with the exception of having the hubby help me stand it upright. The instructions were super easy to follow and understand, and every single hole lined up perfectly. Even with the time commitment, I am impressed enough that I would happily buy this again, and I love the final product.

Extremely annoying to build and not the best quality
I've built a ton of furniture, and dressers always take a long time because there are so many parts, but this one was one of the most annoying and time-consuming I have ever dealt with. It took me several hours across 2 days after work to build it. I would definitely ignore their instructions to not use a drill, and just be careful not to strip the screws; I eventually switched to using the drill and it was a bit better. The quality wasn't too great. There were multiple pilot holes misaligned, poor quality dowels that were too thin or too thick for the intended holes, and soft wood that was already dinged when I opened it (definitely build it on a drop cloth). The dresser also appears large and deeper than it is because the drawers don't even reach the back of the dresser and are shallower than the space, not sure why they wasted so much space that could have been useful. The wooden drawer tracks for sure need to be waxed to open comfortably; I used beeswax which helped, and I actually applied it all over because some parts of the wood were kind of rough and not polished (see photo 3 for a drawer with and without wax). There was a handle with completely crooked pilot holes, and they were too far apart to even attach the handle, so I had to make the pilot hole larger so the handle could just barely be able to be screwed in.Overall I wouldn't really recommend this unless you have a drill and know how to troubleshoot issues that arise. I bought 2 and one arrived 10 days late for some reason, and I plan to just return it rather than deal with building another one.

Waste of Time
I was very excited for the dresser to come in. Unfortunately it arrived with broken pieces and also was missing pieces. I was missing one of the legs, and 3 of the pieces of wood that make up the sides of the drawers. This dresser is relatively difficult and time consuming to build. I spent nearly 6 hours putting this together only to find out I was missing pieces. After contacting the manufacturer, they informed me the pieces I needed were out of stock and would not be restocked until October. A dresser that arrives missing pieces of structural wood is completely useless. This one will be going in the trash. Truly a shame because the wood looks very good and the dresser is quite stable.

Absolutely perfect… well, almost!
The set is 100% as described - just know it’s not a collection meant for a discriminating user, it is what it is - a value priced set that looks awesome and functions without bells/whistles (such as no drawer roller glides - use wax or bar soap to help the wood slide, if needed).I needed something that would photograph well for our vacation rental and this set did just that! I wish the photographer had also shared a photograph of the dresser, but I didn’t think to ask for it, either! The only issue I have is with the darn anchor/bolt things that you twist to lock things together, they LOVE to unscrew and fall out - someone should add a little plastic piece so they actually stay locked. Currently I have 3 sitting on the dresser after moving the dresser in and I can only figure out where 2 of them go…

5 stars for this price point
Five stars for an affordable dresser of real pine wood, shipped at no cost for Prime members.Pros:-under $1000 for a real-wood significant piece of furniture. Yes, there are a few plywood pieces but w/o putting overly heavy items, I expect the bottoms of the drawers will hold up.-under $500 for a dresser that is full-sized. You can find some bamboo or engineered wood ones, but most are very narrow at 13-15”, low and short.-beautiful stain. I do wonder if dings and scratches in the darkest stains will show the pine under it.-good/complete build instructions. I’m a fan of things you can build yourself so I’ve dealt w/many instructions and this is among the better ones. Just follow them in the order they give. Some matter, others not as much but it seems easier to “match the pieces you’re currently constructing” (my best advice)-packed well with great consideration. But be warned, super heavy box.-great customer service! I had one less screw for one of the handles.Con’s:-It’s soft. It’s pine, with probably a thin coat of stain. But that is its nature. I wouldn’t use it for a youth’s or heavily used room or in an area that has a lot of traffic. Still, expect it to get marred and keep one of those paint pens nearby.-not ideal if just one person to manage from accepting parcel to moving finished piece into place. But it is doable and probably several hours for one person.-not as easy if you don’t have padded space at table height or a lot of area to carefully lay out all the pieces. Still, it’s doable. I stood pieces on their ends all lined up and constructed on my bed until it came to putting on the legs and back when I moved it onto a carpet.
