What a difference this makes to opening our gate. Its so simple to use and automatically relatches when the gate is closed.

Will rust and stop working within a matter of months
I would absolutely not recommend this gate latch unless you are happy for it to last a couple of months and no more. After a few months the mechanism got more and more unreliable, and rust began to develop. Today was finally the day that the latch gave in and now, 6 months later, I am once again in the market for a new gate latch.
