I’d been looking for a stand-up blender like this to replace a small food processer that I have. While this is designed for making smoothies, I was looking for something to use for making salsas and other sauces. Again, I have a food processer for this, but it’s a pain to clean each time, and I was looking for something smaller and easier to clean after each use. There were so many options, and honestly, after looking at 25+ blenders and the reviews, I got tired of looking and just decided to give this one a try. I’d never heard of the brand, but it had mostly solid reviews, the price was good, it was simple without a lot of features, which is what I was looking for, and I liked that it came with two fairly large containers and lids. I’m glad I went with this. The dimensions were on the listing, but I when it arrived, it was larger than I expected. Not so much the base (it doesn’t’ have a large footprint) but with the container attached, was taller than I thought it would be. However, that’s a good thing, because I found that anything smaller would have been too small, so this was perfect. The fact that it comes with two containers, both with lids, is really nice, in that it makes it quick and easy to do two items in the same instance. The construction and components all seem high quality. Its not quiet, but it’s also not too loud. It’s probably also more powerful than the size would convey, but I wouldn’t try to push it too much. While I bought this for making salsa mainly, in which it does a spectacular job, I have indeed used it for its intended purpose of making smoothies, and no surprise, does this just as well. If you’re on the fence comparing blender options, I’d encourage you to give this brand you’ve likely never heard of a chance, and probable save some money in the process. It’s a basic blender, but it basic blends very well, and won’t take up too much space. I store mine in a cabinet because I don’t like anything on my counters when not in use, however, it looks nice enough, and has a fairly small footprint, so you could just as easily keep it out all the time. This is not a portable model, it does need to be plugged in. When I was looking, many options were portable and needed to be charged in advance. I personally didn’t want that, as I had no intention of whipping up stuff while out and about, and I think the plug in options are more powerful, and don’t require having the foresight to keep anything charged. Anyway, this is a nice blender at a great price. Go for it, and save yourself another 45 minutes of reading reviews.

Especially for the price, this is a great little blender. Un like most of this size, it will crush ice cubes which is important to me. In my book, you can’t make a smoothie without ice being part of them. Easy to use, easy to clean. A good buy!

The media could not be loaded. Worked great first 2 times. By third time I used it,it started leaking. The part with the blades has 2 small screws. It was leaking out of one of those screws. I contacted the company and I had to upload a video of it leaking and supposdly I will receive a replacement part in 3 weeks. Im not holding my breath. Would NOT reccomend this blender.

This is an acceptable mixer. It is not very strong and hops all over my cabinet when it’s mixing. It does not have bad leakage or noise level. But for the value for the money, it’s weak. I doubt it will last through summer. I would look for a better and stronger brand. Thank you.

Just got this blender delivered today and it is the PERFECT blender for me. I have a small living space and needed a blender so that I can get back in shape in my mid 60's here. In the morning, I like to have a nutrient shake made of protein powder, creatine powder, cocoa powder, cinnamon powder and a touch of honey with whole milk. When I try to make the shake just using a Shake Cup, the cocoa leaves a lot of "chunks" that never mixed with the whole milk. This blender left absolutely NO CHUNKS, and I blended it all on the number 1 setting and for only about 10 seconds. The blender parts and the cups are super easy to clean too. It was made for me.

I used this appliance almost every day for smoothies. The blades remained sharp for the whole 5 months. The unit itself is still operational and working fine. However, the screw on bottom that holds the blades is coming apart to the point that fluid is leaking through and getting on the unit when I use it. It kept getting louder and louder and my husband looked at it and said the gears/bearings in the lid with the blades are loose and he knew no way of fixing them. 5 months of almost everyday use might be worth the price though. Emulsified all my frozen ingredients wonderfully.

Not the most powerful blender (instructions on the side of the machine say do not run longer than one minute… Let it rest, & cool down before blending again). But great value for the money. Not too noisy either. The blender was just delivered and pulled it straight out of the box, gave it a little wash and made my first smoothie. Let’s hope this machine lasts for some time.

I don't know who's giving this thing 5 stars. Here are 3 major flaws to know: first, the motor isn't strong enough to easily blend frozen fruit, so you have to leave your smoothie ingredients out to thaw for 10+ minutes before you can blend them. Second, the motor overheats and starts to give off a mechanical stink (you know the one) after a mere 45-60 seconds of use, and it's shut down completely for me several times after 90 seconds (wouldn't turn back on until I tried it again the next day). Finally, it doesn't move the ingredients well, so you end up using it for 10-15 seconds, turning it off, detaching and shaking the container, and then putting it back on the blender to blend some more. I typically do this 3-4x for a smoothie (not the end of the world, but just more steps indicative of a cheap blender).If you're on a very tight budget, you can probably make do with this if you take drastic steps to minimize wear on the motor - completely thaw your food, always keep blending time under 30 seconds, sing it lullabies at bedtime every night, etc. But for somebody who wants to make a smoothie in 2 minutes and get out the door, you'd be better off shelling out the extra cash now to buy a higher quality blender since this one probably won't last long - I bought mine 2.5 months ago and fully expect its motor to die any day now since it's been overheating and stinking every time I use it basically since day 1 (this despite the fact that I baby it).
