Great for an 8 year old
Was a bit harder to build compared to legos, but my son and I decided the challenge was worthwhile and made it so he didn’t build everything in a single day. He loves them. The blocks interchange with regular legos no problem. Amazing value for the money.

A Hit with Kids and a Pleasant Surprise
I initially purchased the WishaLife Ninja Mech Dragon Robot Warrior Building Blocks Set thinking they were unofficial Gundam figures to build. To my delight, I discovered they were actually building bricks, which turned out to be a fantastic surprise!Pros:Engaging for All Ages: My boys, ranging from 5 to 12 years old, had a blast building these sets. The fact that they are similar in appearance to the clip and snap Gundam figures my husband enjoys made them even more appealing. The sets provided a great bonding opportunity as my five-year-old needed help from my husband, while my older boys (ages 8-12) took on the challenge independently.Imaginative Play: The ninja mech dragon robots have rotatable joints and exclusive weapons, which allowed for a lot of creative and imaginative play. The kids loved creating their own epic battles and adventures, and they take pride in displaying their finished models in our homeschool area.High Quality and Compatibility: Made from high-quality ABS material, these building bricks are sturdy and safe for kids. They are also compatible with major brands, adding versatility for future building projects and integration with other hero toy sets.Great Gift Idea: This set makes a perfect gift for kids aged 6 and up. It's educational, fun, and encourages creativity, making it an excellent choice for holiday presents or special occasions.Cons:Initial Confusion: There was a bit of confusion at first due to my misunderstanding about the type of figures. However, this turned out to be a positive as the brick building experience was a hit with my children.Overall, the WishaLife Ninja Mech Dragon Robot Warrior Building Blocks Set exceeded my expectations and has been a big hit with my kids. They enjoy the building process and the imaginative play that follows. Highly recommend this set for any child who loves action figures and creative construction!

Really fun to build, great instructions, cool models.
I got this as a gift for my 10-year-old grandson, but I wanted to try it out first before giving it to him. I mostly wanted to see how good the instructions were and how well the pieces fit together. I found the instructions to be excellent and really easy to follow. The pieces are very well made and fit together perfectly. I wound up putting way more of it together than I intended because I was having so much fun. It's a little like putting together a three-dimensional jigsaw puzzle. I think he's going to have a lot of fun with it.The box says it's good for ages six and up. I'm not sure the average six-year-old would be able to put this together by themselves. The pieces are really small and there are a lot of them. I feel like their motor skills or attention span wouldn't be up to the task. I asked my wife, a retired grade-school teacher, what she thought, and she said a ten-year-old would be able to do it unassisted, but she felt that most kids younger than that would need some adult help. That said, this would be a fun project to do with your kids! Expect to spend two to three hours on each model.
