The 5.8G Gigabit Point to Point WiFi Bridge Kit by KuWFi, has provided a great way to extend my internet to a location far from the base, as long as it’s less than 6.2 miles and doesn’t have too many obstructions. With its easy set-up, stable service, and ability to provide fast internet, this a worthy consideration. Here are some of the things I’ve learned about it while owning it and things to consider before buying.I. Quality – The main units feel like good quality, but is cheaper feeling then expected for this level of cost. However, the lesser then expected quality doesn’t seem to affect performance at all. I’d guess it’ll last me a good amount of time.II. Set-up – It’s somewhat easy to install if you have at least a little ability with this type of thing. The hardware is simple and goes quick, depending on your chosen location and they come paired to reduce set-up times.III. Performance – It’s worked really well for me to add service to a remote part of my property, for both security cameras and usable internet. This being a 2pcs set, will just send the signal from one to the other. You can then set up a whole system at the remote location, but it will obviously be dependent on the main internet service being able to handle the extra load. If you have visible obstructions between the two bridges, it’ll most likely affect the range and slow down the service. This will depend on how many things, size and what they are. The claimed range of 6.2 miles is very long compared to others I’ve had and is quite impressive if true, but I haven’t tried it that far. For me, there’s minimal obstructions, but it has distance, so it cut the speed down a bit. However, because my internet is much faster then I typically need, it doesn’t create any noticeable issues to be slower.Overall, this is a wonderful option, that’s been easy to use and has provided a safe and stable connection for my needs. I live out in the country and only have a t mobile wifi router in the house. I needed something to reach to my shop in the back of the yard and this actually did it. The bridge is easy to set up, just take your time and it will work.The signal strength out at my shop is good now and I can use my laptop out there.Make sure you mount them where they can see each other and you should have no issues at all.I also have wifi pretty much all over the yard now.5 stars!!

I setup this KuWFi gigabit WiFi bridge to connect two properties we have across the street from each other. The distance apart if much less than the 6.2 miles rating but we wanted a high-quality connection and this has been just that for us. These come preconfigured and paired so there is very little necessary to setup. We connected these with PoE lines and easily set them on a post at each building and quickly established a connection. The connection is strong and there seems little or no variance over the days since installation.

This is very easy to pair and set up and it extends the reach of my Wifi A LOT. Its exactly what I was hoping for and it is excellent quality. No issues whatsoever.
