Core 3 and 4 for OCR (Cambridge Advanced Level Mathematics for OCR)

This is for my A level maths course of which i haven't been given a textbook for the holidays so i decided it was cheap enough to buy. Furthermore, given the price, my school has a returns policy of giving £10 for every book they get in at the end of the year, so i might make a little money too (long term).. hahaAs for the book, it's been used only a little bit, there is the odd pencil mark inside, but this is in much better condition that that of what i expected. absolutely 5 stars for the price.

This book is a must-have for this specification. You have to first get used to the style of the book and the way it works (so you might want to do C1, C2 first). Then you can quickly read and understand how it flows. Once some of the underlying concepts are understood, this book is chock-full of questions that give you so much practice, and for maths, that's exactly what you need. The stretch and challenge sections are well-explained and prepare you for the future nicely.

As a Private Maths Tutor, I shall use this book partly as a nice bank of questions to draw from.For students, it appears to have good explanations and has diverse questions on all topics.As for the seller, in all the usual aspects of delivery time etc, I am mostly satisfied, although I had not anticipated that the book would be written in. However, I am willing to concede this might be an oversight on my part as I had read many descriptions of the condition of this book (not this actual one obviously) from many other sellers.
