Fantastic for golf and very good value for money. Just as good as Bushnell.

Compact, accurate and very nicely presented
This range finder is probably most useful for golfers, but is also ideal for archery and other sports where knowing the distance to your target is important.I'm a terrible golfer, and using a range-finder probably wouldn't help much. However, I'm also a pretty decent archer. The club I use specialises in Target archery, and has targets pre-positioned at distances from 30m to 100m, and a second field with the targets spaced in yards. A quick look through the range finder at the targets confirmed that it's pretty accurate and well within the +/- 0.5m claims. The archery targets aremaybe a bit too close to really test it, as the maximum distance the rangefinder can measure is a stonking 1200m. That would be an impressive shot with a bow!The shortest distance it can measure is 5m, which is about the closest archery target you can expect to see.Obviously, for target archery you already know the distance. This rangefinder is far more useful for practising with 3D targets, or for field archery. Some competition rules don't allow you to measure the distance to the target, so it really pays to learn what different distances look like. Learning to estimate distance accurately is a key part of field archery, and is a lot easier with a rangefinder.I tend to put a selection of targets out, guess the distance to them and then check with the rangefinder. For longer distances, I keep the rangefinder in my pocket while I'm out walking, guess the distance to trees and bushes and check how close I am using the rangefinder. Just don't accidentally point it at other people - they don't like it and think you are taking pictures. The rangefinder arrives really nicely packed, in a sturdy, printed card box. Inside the box is a charging cable, a lens cleaning cloth, an instruction booklet, and the rangefinder in a carry case. Overall, the presentation is top-notch and it would make a really nice gift.Regarding the charging cable, the slot in the rangefinder is quite narrow. The supplied USB C cable fits perfectly, but the plastic part of a generic one I tried was slightly too big and wouldn't fit. Don't lose the cable. The rangefinder is easy to use - look through it, press the button nearest your eye, put the flashing dot on the target and after a moment the readout gives you the range and angle. The other button scrolls through three modes which are described in the manual and basically give you the vertical or horizontal distances along with the angle, enabling you to compensate for terrain elevation, or even calculate the height of a building. Pressing and holding the same button switches from Meters to Yards. One thing I noticed in use is that the eyepiece is not very comfortable. It has to be very close to your eye to get a good picture, and the knobbly bits of the rubber focussing wheel press into your eye socket. With glasses on, I found it quite difficult to get a good image.

easy to pick out targets
A handy and reliable rangefinder that makes a real difference on the course. The accuracy is spot on, and the flag pole locking vibration feature is great for quickly confirming distances. The 7X magnification provides a clear and crisp view, making it easy to pick out targets even at longer distances. The slope function is a useful addition, helping with more precise shot calculations. It’s lightweight and compact, so it doesn’t take up much space in the golf bag. The rechargeable battery is a nice touch, saving the hassle of constantly replacing batteries. A great little gadget for improving confidence and precision on the fairway.

Small but packed with features
This compact rangefinder is small in size but big on features. With a distance range of 1200 yards, flag pole lock, slope measurement and x7 magnification, it offers pretty much all the features you’re likely to need. For some its compact size will be a bonus, for others it may hamper its use, especially if you have large hands. I can see the advantage in carrying/storage, but I personally found it to be a bit on the small side and fiddly to make it something I’d use regularly - I much prefer the traditional shape and size of rangefinder. That said, its feature packed and if the size doesn’t cause you problems, then I think it would tick most boxes for a decent rangefinder, whether used for golf or other activities. Still too early to comment on durability, but first impressions so far are good.

Excellent golf range finder
A really nice and compact golf range finder. The range finder is surprisingly compact and fits nicely into the palm of your hand and is easy to manipulate if in a rush. A simple press of the button when aimed at the flag post or part of the course and you get your reading. When compared to several other range finders it is spot on as well as when at particular course range markers. The range finder has a tilt/ slope function also which works really well, allowing you to chose the right club. There is also a pin flag seeker which will make the unit vibrate which also allows for quick distance finding.Included is a protective case as well as a lanyard and charging cable as well as a manual.Charging is easy on the go and my electric club trolley charges it. Battery life is very good and you can go many rounds without having to recharge it.You can also adjust the focus also by twisting the eyepiece which is handy.

Looks Good, and it's Small and Light
If golf is a passion, then the likelihood is that you are more professional than I am, in this situation, this could be a really useful tool for you. If you know your woods from your wedges and your irons from your hybrids, having a rangefinder might help you decide the right club to use for the length of your shot.I am an avid pitch and putt fan, but that is the extent of my golfing expertise, and, whilst knowing the elevation and distance is nice to know, it is unlikely to help my game. This range finder is very easy to use, and seems pretty accurate. Being rechargeable is a bonus. The range finder itself is quite a bit smaller than many that I have reviewed, it is light too, it was nice and clear when looking through it, I simply adjusted the focus and was good to go.The rigid case was a real bonus as it feels quite protective, and the carabiner on it means you can hook it to your golf bag.Within the box you get the following:1 x Carrying case1 x USB-C Charging Cable1 x Wrist cord1 x Carabiner1 x Lens cleaner1 x ManualThe price of £99.99 seems reasonable enough, especially as there is a 20% off voucher at the time of writing.
