What customers should know— is this product WORKS. We live in Florida and yard sprinklers can turn everything it touches eventually turns rusty. My wife’s car gets sprayed when the breeze carries the “skink water” , every one in Florida knows what I’m talking about. I just washed the Jeep and used this remarkable product after 3 years of trying clays and other failed products I saw a tv commercial and went to 3 auto parts stores and no-one stocks this product. 2 days after ordering from Amazon I was amazed how well this product worksThe Jeep finish was clear of rust, however I also used Meguiars. spray wax as usual. Jeep looks show room new.PS the side of my house also came clean without effecting paint finishThis product will always have a place in my Meguiars product line. The slight odor is not too bad for what it gives.

Iron rust spots on a white car😡! Saw this product on Amazon and decided to give it a try (nothing else I tried worked very well). Followed directions: 1) wet surface, 2) spray the product on, 3) wipe it around with a wet sponge and 4) rinse off using a pressure washer. As the product is dissolving all the little brown spots off the finish it turns purple in color and, after rinsing, all the spots are gone. The total job took less than 5 minutes to remove all the brown spots off a full size SUV from the rear wheel well on one side, across the entire width / height of the rear of the car around to the rear wheel well on the other side of the car. Inexpensive, effective, fast acting, easy application. Definitely a recommended product.

Meguiar's Ultimate Iron Remover said to spray it on, wait 30 seconds, agitate with a damp wash mitt, rinse off and dry. I was shocked. It turned those dots into beautiful purple streaks that wiped right off with hardly any rubbing!!! No more clay bars for me, ever!!! I have never had them come off this fast or this easy before, ever!!! Yes, it smells bad. I was shocked again when my household Goo Gone Pro-Power Goo & Adhesive Remover took tar off just about as fast, compared to a lot of other products I've tried. This product had the words 'wood glue', 'adhesive' and 'grease & tar' on the front. I say this because others have said negative words about Goo Gone somewhere about something and I want to make clear that I am talking specifically about the Goo Gone that has those words on the front along with a picture that matched above those words.These two products have made my job of detailing my van effortlessly fun, and I love a spotless van!!!

Not bad at all, but you really have to prepare for a full day of detail.The car needs to be cooled down and no sun. Then you spray it on a damp car and let it do its thing. Rinse it all off. Then you can start w clay bar, wax, etc.Also, I tested my wheels and it was safe, and it worked great on my wheels. The amount of junk that came off was wild.It has a bit of a smell. Very much know your using a chemical.Do not use this if you do not plan on then waxing the car, as this will strip everything off.

As a disclaimer I have used the popular brand CARPRO Iron X, and in comparison based on pricing and quality, this would beat it by a mile. This does everything IronX can do at a 90% efficiency rate, and way cheaper by far. The iron remover has a small egg smell which they try to hide it behind a pleasant citrusy smell. The chemical works fast, has a great spray nozzle, and the beautiful red/pink indicator is satisfying to see.

Iron Remover is a MUST HAVE if you're serious about decontaminating your vehicle's paint and wheels. Yes, there is a slight chemical smell, but that's going to be par for the course with any brand of iron remover. Meguiar's does it right and does it for less than the other guys. Just spray, let it dwell, see the spray turn purple so you know it's working, then rinse. A great value and product.

Better products out there for sure, didn't feel like it fully worked like other products but looked better than without use. Iron removers always smell bad so no issue there. Will use more product than some more professional / commercial so nit sure how cost comes out but will work if you need it. Good amount for price but obviously as we would either way not recommend for professional use.

I rarely write reviews but had to for this one. I bought for my truck and haven’t used on that yet but I gave it a whirl on my bathtub and shower. I have well water and even with a filter still get tough iron stains. Over the years I have tried every bathroom cleaner and even muriatic and sulphuric acid but nothing has truly removed the stains. Until now! Spray on, watch it turn purple and scrub a little with a brush and stains are gone! I was worried about rinsing it off thoroughly so used a garden pump sprayer with water then wiped again after that.If they sold it for home cleaning to go up against Iron Out and those other brands they could make a fortune. Amazing product!
