Easy to Install, Works Great & Saved Me Lots of Money!
This chip updated the map feature in my 2016 Toyota Avalon from the 2015 map version to the 2024 map version. Toyota had priced it to me at about $135, so quite a savings for a few minutes of instillation on my part. The hardest part was getting the little door on the radio open to remove the old chip & insert the new chip. Hint: I used a pair of tweezers that I had handy in the car to open it. Took a trip following instillation & the system worked perfectly. It even retained the addresses I had stored in the system. BTW--I am a 77 soon to be 78 year old female, so you should be able to install it to!

Dealership wanted to charge $300 for the same chip . Easy to install . Highly reccomend for anyone with 2017 Toyota Highlander!

Well worth it!
Well worth it!I own a 2019 Toyota Tundra and decided to update the factor GPS system. The clip arrived in 1 day, took about 5 minutes to install. The Dealership wanted way too must money to update the system. The instructions are easy to follow, found it to be extremely accurate.

Give yourself time for the update to install.
Give yourself some time to let the car run and update after installing the new map SD Card. Also, if you have any reminders or notifications that pop-up on the infotainment screen, you’ll want to disable them as they will cause issues with the install process. I had maintenance reminders and it would override the install process. As a result, my backup camera would not work as the system couldn’t complete the installation. Once I removed my reminders, I could click through the prompts. I also had to leave the car running for about 20mins so the system could update and restart multiple times.However once everything has had enough time to update, the car and maps were as normal yet updated. All in all, it was a pretty straightforward process, it’s just a little finicky. But that has more to do with the car and not this SD Card.
