Great for my thin fine hair

This is not a mousse for MEN!I’m pretty sure my hairstylist told me when he gave me the first bottle for Christmas one year. That this was the best for mature hair and was made especially for women.I started using it when I could no longer find my go to mousse I had been using for years.This mousse is light and will only weigh your hair down if it’s not used properly. It’s an air foam that dissolves almost immediately in the hair.I use clean hands and spray it in to my left hand and apply it to my towel dried hair.The SMELL IS SO NICE!! Some may not like the smell that this mousse has.As my Grandmother would often say,”To Each His Own”.I am constantly getting compliments about how nice my hair smells.This mousse does not give you a bunch of volume so if you want BIG HAIR, this is not it.It does give a nice lift, a bit of a shine , better hold and a beautiful smell.I love that it does not weigh my hair down nor does it dry my hair out. It gives that little extra that we start loosing with aging hair.I absolutely love it and have been using it for several years now.I moved away from my old hair stylist so I was no longer able to purchase from him.I was so happy to see that Amazon had it.😊I have been ordering from them since.A bottle normally last about 6 months. It all depends on how much you use and how long your hair is.Keep an eye on it and you can order when they decrease the price., better yet, subscribe . Just be sure that you Stock up on a bottle so you are never without.I always order when my bottle drops around half or when the price has decreased.If you have fine limp hair, this is a definite try.If you have normal hair, try it!I think a lot more hair types could benefit from this mousse.Package was wrapped in plastic and in a separate box. Shipping was great!I’ll share a pic of me with my granddaughter that shows with very little styling the lift and life this mousse brought to my hair. Order this today, don’t hesitate. Ordered by mistake instead of bond repair mousse. Could not return it. The product is not cheap but they make sure they have no return policy.

This mousse is great for people with thin hair . It provides a lot of volume and texture which makes your hair look like it is naturally full. Great product!

Even though Alterna reduced the size of the container and upped the price, I was willing to buy it. The previous iteration of their volumizing mousse was a favorite for many years. Just got this new version and (1) it's a different formulation and (2) they've added a strong scent. For me, the jury is out. It seems to work OK, but it has a significantly different feel than the product that they marketed previously, and I don't like my mousse to conflict with my perfume. Why not label this as "new formula," or "now with added scent"? That way you'd know what you're getting. Wish I could find the original stuff!!
